CELES SAMUI is committed to reducing environmental impact through food waste management with the Oklin system, which transforms food waste into organic fertilizer that can be reused to nourish plants and greenery naturally. The resort also practices waste separation, water and energy conservation under our Less-Wash Policy, and Carbon Footprint
monitoring through the CF-Hotels platform. As part of our environmental initiatives, CELES SAMUI also organizes the “Grow & Glow” activity, where employees participate in preparing nursery areas and planting seedlings using organic fertilizer produced from recycled food waste. The initiative reflects our commitment to creating a more natural and sustainable cycle — turning food waste back into new growth and future food sources. In addition, the resort continues to develop clean energy initiatives and environmental projects in collaboration with the local community to help preserve the natural beauty of Koh Samui for future generations.
